The Pack

Westwind was founded in 1992 and began its legacy as a woman-owned, small business, Value-Added-Reseller providing comprehensive IT solutions in the Federal space. We have since expanded our offerings to include emerging technologies like 3D Printing and Unmanned Solutions to provide even more comprehensive solutions for clients in enterprise business markets and government agencies at the federal, state, and local levels.

Who We Are

Westwind is a family-owned company, headed by husband-and-wife team Frances Jaramillo, CEO and Steve Hull, President. In 2018, Frances and Steve began envisioning what the next 20 years of Westwind could look like. As often happens when visionaries start dreaming things began happening, and Westwind 2.0 was born. The transition that followed included a new vision for the company’s culture, and the coalescence of The Pack.

The spirit of the wolf runs deep at Westwind. Packs are a team – they work together tirelessly for the good of the whole. This resonated deeply with Frances and Steve and their vision for the relationships Westwind forms with its customers, suppliers, employees, and the community.

What We Do

Westwind’s primary focus for all its customers is to provide the most appropriate and cost-effective IT solutions to enable each of us to reach our full potential. This process begins by gaining an extensive understanding of the customer’s requirements and budget, with particular consideration given to scalability and long-term goals. We then work with partners to identify and/or build the right IT solutions. Westwind’s knowledge of the technology industry and strong relationships ensure that our customers receive the best solution for their needs at the best cost, with professional installation and ongoing customer support.

Westwind is headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with remote locations and personnel in California, Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, and the greater Washington, D.C. area.

We are proud to create an organization that will continue to grow and thrive over time. Westwind accomplishes this through continued innovation and relationship development. We pay close attention to technology developments, and invest time and resources to become subject matter experts in areas of emerging technology. This approach allows us to meet our customers’ dynamic and ever- changing needs, while building a company that will continue to support our local and global community.

Giving Back

We believe there’s power in partnership, and that includes building relationships that benefit our communities here in New Mexico.

Our giving and volunteer efforts have been heavily focused on several areas that are near and dear to the Hull-Jaramillo family: education, animal welfare, habitat preservation, and fighting poverty in New Mexico. Prior to joining the Westwind team, Frances spent twenty-eight years working in special education with Albuquerque public schools. Her tenure in education inspired ways that we can support the next generation of innovators and collaborators, including donating computer equipment to spark tech-best learning, and offering internships that help young people launch their careers.
