INSIDE SALES REP

Job Summary

We are seeking an Inside Sales Rep for Customer Service Support to join the team. If you enjoy a team environment, family feel and a beautiful work environment, Westwind might be the place for you.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively through email and telephone with all federal customers, vendors, and OEM’s;
  • Ability to provide quotes on IT items and services requested by the federal government;
  • Excellent computer skills; and
  • Top-notch customer service skills.

This person will be responsible for:

  • Detailed record-keeping;
  • Daily communication with supervisors; and
  • Regular communication with members of the sales team.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

We are seeking a non-exempt, hourly administrative assistant who has the ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to approach every task with enthusiasm.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Obtain information for existing and new vendors – process new vendor requests.
  • Assist in the handling of documentation, communication and execution of supplier agreements including SOWs, Teaming Agreements & MSAs.
  • Assist with Vairkko, Teams, OneDrive and other data administration related to suppliers and or various Teaming Partners.
  • Monitor and support certification requirements for all IT contractors and suppliers.
  • Maintain contract & supplier performance reporting/metrics. Assist with reporting on select vendors, monitor, and report on performance to contract (e.g., service level agreement (SLA) attainment or adherence to deliverables and obligations).
  • Perform monthly audit of SLA reporting and work with Directors to resolve performance concerns.
  • Manage the SLA update/refresh process prescribed within assigned contracts.
  • Coordinate with Directors and above to publish aggregate vendor contract performance data and, as requested, collaborate and follow-through with business partners in obtaining contractual remedies, developing a remediation plan with the vendor, or developing a vendor exit strategy. Develop vendor contract performance data and report out to senior management.
  • Assist with the execution of various programs to measure customer satisfaction with vendors (e.g., internal surveys), identifying areas for improvement or where vendors can provide value-add. Coordinate with business areas on deficiencies / possible improvements and assist in working with vendors on corrective action programs or in implementing value-add items.
  • Identify and track vendor issue escalations and resolutions. Participate with senior managers in resolving escalations.
  • Conduct and/or participate in account reviews with strategic and other selected vendors to ensure business relationships are fostered and maintained. Formulate and implement strategies to improve customer/vendor relationships with strategic and other selected vendors. Determine opportunities where such vendors can improve performance and/or lower cost.
  • In consultation with senior management staff, develop annual objectives for selected vendors with the goals of reducing costs, improving performance, and driving efficiencies. Aggregate and report on business partner and vendor plans, progress, and results.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with management. Serve as a point of escalation to resolve contract or vendor performance issues and serve as a liaison between the business and Supply Chain to come to agreement on contractual issues.
  • Provide training, as appropriate, on, policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Design and maintain documented policies, standards, processes, and procedures necessary to accomplish the functions of the position.
  • Design, develop new points and or rewards programs for internal use • Cultivate New Employee and supplier rewards programs • Assist with the curation and management of Sales focused Solutions Decks
  • Support BD and Sales Team as needed and or required.

    EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
  • One Year Contracting or some level of customer service experience
  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing or 3 years of related industry experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of business and technical vocabulary
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT industry
  • Ability to employ basic reasoning skills
  • Knowledge of organizational operations and procedures
  • Should be good with numbers and must have good analytical skills
  • Must display good leadership skills
  • Should have good organization, presentation, and customer services skills
