IT SALES MANAGER

We’re seeking someone with IT industry and previous team supervisory experience to support and assist the AVP of Sales. Will be the right-hand person in leading a sales support team and salespeople.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales and program management team.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales plans; projecting expected sales volume and profit margin for existing and any new contracts, projects, and/or individual products.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer/contract base and ensures its strong presence.
  • Completes sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Enhances staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field (master’s preferred)
  • Successful previous experience as an IT sales representative or IT sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

INSIDE SALES REP

Job Summary

We are seeking an Inside Sales Rep for Customer Service Support to join the team. If you enjoy a team environment, family feel and a beautiful work environment, Westwind might be the place for you.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively through email and telephone with all federal customers, vendors, and OEM’s;
  • Ability to provide quotes on IT items and services requested by the federal government;
  • Excellent computer skills; and

This person will be responsible for:

  • Daily communication with supervisors; and
  • Regular communication with members of the sales team.

PARTNER COORDINATOR

We are seeking a Partner Coordinator who will be responsible for managing the Westwind Apple Program and supportive OEMs. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude
  • Ability to approach every task with enthusiasm
  • Proficiency in Apple hardware and software technology, AppleCare and accessories
  • Provide light support for Apple and related OEMs to resolve performance concerns
  • Support and track customer returns
  • Assist with deal registration, tracking and monitoring
  • Perform sales team configurations and verify as needed
  • Track and monitor Apple open and backorder reports
  • Track and monitor policy changes as required, including QMS
  • Provide internal and customer facing training and simple support
  • Assist with the curation and management of Sales focused Solutions Decks
  • Support BD and Sales Team as needed and or required, technical pre-sales calls etc.
  • Support our OEM certification requirements program
  • Support Device Enrollment procedures, directly and via distribution
  • Assist marketing team with resources and information as needed
  • Perform OEM performance reporting/metrics for Apple and other select vendors, monitor, and report on vendor performance to contract (e.g., service level agreement (SLA) attainment or adherence to deliverables and obligations),
  • Coordinate with Directors and above to publish Apple and supportive vendor performance data and, as requested, collaborate and follow-through with business partners
  • Measure customer satisfaction with Apple (e.g., internal surveys), identify areas for improvement or where supportive vendors can provide value-add. Identify and resolve deficiencies / possible improvements and assist in working with vendors on corrective action programs or in implementing value-add items.
  • Conduct and / or participate in Apple and supporting OEM reviews to ensure business relationships are fostered and maintained. Formulate and implement strategies to improve customer / vendor relationships with strategic and other selected vendors. Determine opportunities where such vendors can improve performance and / or lower cost.
  • In consultation with senior management staff, develop annual objectives for selected vendors with the goals of reducing costs, improving performance, and driving efficiencies.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of Apple Technology and Training Experience
  • One Year of Contracting or some level of customer service experience
  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing or 3 years of related industry experience
  • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of business and technical vocabulary
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT industry
  • Ability to employ basic reasoning skills
  • Knowledge of organizational operations and procedures
  • Should be good with numbers and must have good analytical skills
  • Must display good leadership skills
  • Should have good organization, presentation, and customer services skills
  • Knowledge of tele-conferencing solutions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to travel 15-25%

FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST

Westwind is seeking a front desk receptionist to:

  • manage incoming calls;
  • greet visitors;
  • perform data entry duties; plus
  • learn the ins and outs of the business. 

This is an 8 am to 5 pm M-F position. Some over-time may be required at peak periods of the year. Prefer someone who can cross-train and learn the business from different angles as well as fulfilling the role of an admin.

ADMINISTRATIVE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Westwind is seeking an Administrative Accounting Specialist with a minimum of 2-5 yrs related accounting clerk experience. This is an 8 am to 5 pm M-F position. Some overtime may be required at peak periods of the year. Prefer someone who can cross-train and learn the business from different angles as well as fulfilling the role of an Administrative Accounting Specialist. Growth potential is possible in this position so the right person will be one who can join the team, grow, and stay for many years.

Duties include:

  • Organize and maintain files and records.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to support multiple office staff with projects and assignments.
  • Assist with data entry into various systems.
  • May participate in project work when needed.
  • Intermediate proficiency with QuickBooks, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to create spreadsheets using formulas.
  • Assist staff members with A/P A/R.
  • Invoicing.

GENERAL LABORER HELPER

Westwind is seeking a flexible person with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license to perform warehouse, general labor, yard work, and occasional building maintenance at various locations.

Duties could include but are not limited to:

  • Swamp cooler maintenance
  • Vacuuming of materials off manufacturing floor
  • Window cleaning
  • Grounds keeping, use of mowers, blowers, weed trimmers, painting, sweeping and use of various tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop and stand for long periods.
